2007 Zinfandel:   Released Spring 2009.

This vintage of our flagship Fair Play Zinfandel has the same characteristics as its Gold Medal-winning predecessors. You'll enjoy an aromatic fruit nose rich with strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry flavors. This gold-medal Zin is smooth, powerful, and full-bodied with a well-balanced dry finish with notes of caramel and spice.  Winner of three medals including a Gold Medal at the 2009 Best of the Bay National Zin Challenge and a Gold Medal at the North of the Gate Wine Competition (Sonoma-Marin County Fair), July  2009.             

2006 Petite Sirah:  Released Fall 2008.

This vintage is an elegant, soft, and aromatic wine with hints of chocolate, black pepper, and citrus zest. It tastes like the wild blackberries that grow along the paths in the Gold Note vineyards.  Winner of seven medals including Gold Best of Class at
the North of the Gate Wine Competition (Sonoma-Marin County
Fair).                  

2007 Barbera:   Released Summer 2009.

This vintage is barrel-aged eighteen months and has the classic light fruit nose and tart backbone of a true Barbera with hints of cherry, caramel, and cedar. Our 2007 Barbera pairs perfectly with summer dining and your favorite grilled entrées. 
Winner of two medals including a Silver Medal at the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.               

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon:   Premier Vintage! -  Released Summer 2009.

This vintage is truly delicious. Our very first release of Cabernet is comparable to the world's great Cabernets and is offered at a California Sierra Foothills price!  Our Cabernet is very smooth and rich with cherry and oak  flavors. It's ready for you to enjoy now with a grilled steak dinner or your favorite cheese and fruit platter.  Upon release, this Cab immediately won its first Gold Medal at the North of the Gate Wine Competition 2009 (Sonoma-Marin County Fair). Also won a silver medal at the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
